- WebWhacker 2.0 enables you to "subscribe" to Web sites, a
- process in which you download pages and entire sites from
- the World Wide Web, organize them into categories, and save
- them on your hard drive or local network. You can then view
- these pages at any time from your local desktop, with faster
- loading and no additional on-line charges. By saving and
- categorizing your favorite Web sites, you can take the chaos
- out of the Internet, becoming more productive with the
- wealth of information available there.

- When surfing the Net, you can easily "grab" an interesting
- site for later viewing.

- GET READY

- Tell WebWhacker which browser you'll be using.
- • Go to WebWhacker's Tools menu and select the
- Preferences command, then the Browser/Mail page.
- • Click on the Locate button to find your browser, and
- then click Open to select your browser.
- • Click OK to close the Preferences page.

- GET SET

- In your Web browser, find a site you want to download.

- In WebWhacker, subscribe to the site.
- • Select Grab from the WebWhacker Toolbar.
- • Set up the subscription in the New URL dialog, typing
- in your user name and password (if required) in the
- Security area and selecting a category for the site in
- the area labeled Select the Category for this URL. For
- now, ignore the other options.
- • Click OK to close the dialog.

- WHACK!

- Download the site by clicking WHACK on the WebWhacker
- toolbar.

- After whacking, view the site by double-clicking on the name
- of the URL in the WebWhacker window.
